AHCP Membership Services and Consortia
Membership in organizations like the International Association of Health Care Professionals (IAHCP) and its related consortia is crucial for modernising patient care, facilitating global knowledge exchange, and enabling career growth for health professionals. These associations act as a unified voice to influence policy, set clinical standards, and provide resources that bridge the gap between education and clinical practice. These are described below.
The AHCP Membership Services and Consortia are as follows:
- Association of Health Care Professionals (AHCP) Global Services– www.ahcpworld.org was founded in 1930 in Europe and operates globally. It has been promoting excellence in medical practice, research, education, science, technology, innovation, humanitarian work and community development for over 95 years.
- “International Association of Health Care Professionals (IAHCP) Society”, was founded in 1934 in Europe, as a global association, & “International Association of Health Care Professionals (IAHCP) Society Consortium” – www.iahcp.uk was founded in 1947 in Europe as a membership service of the AHCP, and operates globally. The IAHCP Society and Consortium are membership services of the AHCP, Europe, and they have been promoting and supporting healthcare, education, research and development in science, technology and innovation, including infrastructure and industry in its global projects for over 70 years. - International Association of Health Care Professionals (IAHCP) Society Consortium Education Academy Learning Centres – www.iahcp.co.uk was founded in 1947 in Europe as a membership service of the AHCP, and operates globally, except in UK and Ireland. The IAHCP Education Academy Learning Centres are membership services of the AHCP, Europe, and the participating centres internationally. The Learning Centres offer of the higher education equivalent subjects and qualifications ended in 2016/2017 academic year. It now supports studies in Africa and other developing countries. The Academy Learning Centres have been supporting healthcare, education, research and development in science, technology and innovation, including infrastructure and industry in its global projects for over 70 years.
Special Notice:
IAHCP Education Academy Learning Centres, which were established since 1947 in Europe and other parts of the world – is also a Membership Service of the Association of Health Care Professionals (AHCP) that started in Europe and other parts of the world since 1930. AHCP is a not for profit organisation, non – governmental with charitable intents.
Please note that the IAHCP Education Academy Learning Centres, is not part of the IAHCP in the UK from 2007 to 2016 and not part of the current AHCP that was registered in the UK since 2016.
- Santa Maria College (SMC) – www.santamariacollege.org.uk was founded in 1932 in Europe as membership Membership Service of the AHCP, and operates globally. SMC is a membership service of the AHCP, Europe, and it supports the objectives of the AHCP. It has been promoting and supporting healthcare, education, research and development in science, technology and innovation, including infrastructure and industry in its global projects. in its global projects for over 80 years. SMC holds and organises annual conferences and symposia, attended by members and non-members alike, where experts teach, discuss and promote development, education and research in It promotes healthcare, education, research and development in science, technology and innovation, including infrastructure and industry in its global projects, and real life impacts such as advances that have been made in the medical field.
- International Journal of Medicine (IJM) – www.ijmjournal.org.uk was initially founded in 1930 as the Journal of the AHCP in Europe, and after many reforms and change of names over the past decades, it was later renamed as the IJM since 1998. The IJM is the official medical Journal of the AHCP. The IJM supports and promotes healthcare, education, research and development in science, technology and innovation(STI), including infrastructure and industry in its global projects. It has been promoting and supporting the STIs in its global projects for over 95 years, throughout its history.
- Medical and Social Care Services(MSCS) Association Consortium – www.medicalscs.co.uk was founded in 1947 in Europe as a membership service of the AHCP, and operates globally. The MSCS supports and promotes healthcare, education, research and community development in science, technology and innovation, including infrastructure and industry in its global projects. It has been promoting and supporting the STIs in its global projects for over 70 years.

Collaborating Organisations with the AHCP
Collaborating with external organisations is fundamental for a health care association to deliver high-quality care, address complex public health issues, and improve the overall efficiency of the health system. By forming strategic partnerships, associations can pool expertise, share resources, and create more holistic services that a single profession could not provide alone.
The AHCP collaborating organisations and groups that are committed to the same aims/objectives, including missions and goals are as follows:
- The Joint International Academies of Research and Education (JIARE) Consortium – www.jiare.org.uk is a not for profit organisation, which was founded in 1932 in Europe and operates internationally. Its main aim is to maintain high quality in healthcare, research, education, including science, technology and innovation(STI) and community development, including industrial programmes and infrastructure building. JIARE Consortium is a collaboration with the AHCP and supports the UN 2030 Agenda and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs). It has been promoting and supporting the STIs in its global projects for over 80 years. As JIARE believes that educating one individual educates a generation, JIARE Consortium’s main purpose has been sponsoring children and adults mostly from developing countries in primary, secondary and higher education with the aim of giving more underprivileged individuals access to STI education and careers. JIARE also hold annual conferences with the SMC on the role of science, technology and innovation in advances in medical practice.
